It is so close. Friday will be here in 2 days. Yowsa. Went to the opening gala last night. The Fringe has turned into such a wonderfully, sophisticated, creative event. I am so proud to be a part of it. Doing a story and song tonight at the FLAME. Test run of new material. Exciting and makes me want to lie down at the same time. Hope people have made plans, bought tickets and are planning to come. I am proud of this show too.
Love my director and best friend Kerry Sandormisky, and Bill Costin on piano is cracking us up everyday.
fun fun fun. Making art while laughing is a truly lovely way to life your life.
There is great energy around this show. So wonderful. Really encourages me to LEARN MY LINES!!!
And my show is one of the Vancouver Presents picks. Have a look here
I love, love love being in the rehearsal hall. Safe, sacred, creative, exploring, messing up, laughing, epiphanies, and sheer confusion. The whole kit and caboodle. mmmmhhhhh life is good.
We did it. We all got together in the same room and I read words on a paper. Words that I have written. Somehow, some way, all these words are going to make a show. A play. The words brought laugher, tears, songs, the whole shebang! It appears it’s going to work.
I am really excited and humbled. Please remind me of these feelings come September.
There are still a few words needing to be written… but hey….we don’t open for a month. Yikes. It is indeed exactly one month until we open. AHHHH keep breathing.
